Wet on a bike

Today was one of the damp types… very damp. Especially my bike seat which has a hole in the cover meaning that when I sit on it the water that has seeped in to the sponge then seeps in to my trousers, my pants and my coat, leaving an embarrasing wet patch all about the wrong area. Still, I felt better for having cycled to the studio even though my face was speckled with brown mud spots from the puddle spray. I only noticed late afternoon when I looked in a mirror. God knows what Dave the courier must have thought.

And then carrying on with the green felt cushions. I’ve sneeked some vivid pink in to the embroidered butterfly and the butterfly strip to add a bit more zing. I hope the client will be OK with this. The muted greys  and creams work well with the green but it’s just asking for a colour just as vibrant and spicy to dual with. I think colours have personalities…there’s a blog for another day!

I thought I’d take a couple of pics of the friends I pass on my daily commute. Rarely interested in anything other than eating but they occassionaly say hello.
